Here the recipe of Homemade chocolate
Ingredients :
Milk powder : 15 tbsp.
Chocolate / cocoa powder : 7 tbsp.
Sugar : 1 cup
Butter(salt less) : 200 gm.
Water : 1/2 cup
Preparation Method :
1. Melt the butter and keep aside.
2. Nicely mix chocolate powder and milk powder and keep it aside.
3. Melt sugar in 1/2 cup water.
4. On a low flame, add the mix of chocolate and milk powder to the melted sugar and stir continuously.
5. When the mix comes out almost in the form of paste, remove from flame.
6. Add the melted butter and stir nicely for 5-10 minutes.
7. Grease a tray/steal plate with butter and pour the mix into the tray and keep in the refrigerator.
8. Allow it to cool and Cut it into pieces/shapes.
Special Note :-
You can do your own creativity with this chocolate syrup like put in different mould for different shapes or add roasted cashew nuts or you can dip fruits in this syrup or you can add heart shaped biscuits or Marie gold biscuits. I am having lots of fun with this syrup. :)

Ingredients :
Brown bread / White bread
Amul Butter
Mixed Fruit Jam - As per as your choice
Preparation Method:
1. Take Brown bread or any of your choice bread, toast it on tawa without butter on both the sides till golden brown.
2. Take toasted bread, spread one side butter and one side Jam / jelly and combine both the toasted bread together.
3. Your Yummy French Toast Butter and Jelly Sandwich is ready, you can serve with tea and coffee.
Special Tip : You can also use Peanut butter also instead of Salted Butter. Peanut butter is also a good combination with Jam.

This is the common vegetable in every Indian kitchen, loved by some and hated by many and but they have many good nutritional benefits also. This is purely made in a Punjabi style. This is dry curry veggie and it is an all time favorite dish at our home, we usually prepare once in a week. This is one of most healthy vegetable and tasty Indian dish made with bottle-gourd and other Indian spices. This is also called Lauki ki sabzi or Ghiya also. This is very jhatpat recipe to prepare. It's good for health and digestive also.
Ingredients :
Bottle-gourd / Lauki / Ghiya - 250 gms / 1 full
Finely Chopped Onions (medium sized) - 2 nos
Finely Chopped Tomatoes (medium sized) - 2 nos
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder
Red chilli powder
Garam Masala Powder
Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Chopped Coriander leaves
Vegetable Oil - 2 tbsp
Preparation Method :
1. First peel and finely chopped the bottle gourd, onions. Wash it properly.

2. Heat oil in a cooker, add cumin seeds and allow them to crackle. Now add the bottle gourd and onions in a cooker and mix it well in a low flame.
3. Add chopped tomatoes and all Indian spices like turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt to taste and red chilli powder. Mix it well till all the masala mixed with each other.
4. Cover the lid of the cooker and give full 1 whistle in a high flame and then reduce the flame for 10 minutes. Turn off the flame and open the cooker, if water is remaining in veggie, reduce it and give 2 boils in a high flame.
5. Your Lauki ki Sabzi / Bottle Gourd Curry is ready to eat. This is best going with chapati and masala lachha paratha also.
It is easy to make at home. In few steps the result will surprise you. With condensed milk can make many variety of desert recipes. Ingredients :
Full Cream Milk - 1 Liter
Brown Sugar - 200 grams (You can use white sugar also)
Pinch of Baking Soda
Butter- 1 tbsp (Optional to thicken the milk)
Preparation Method :
1. Take a non-stick pan. First boil milk. When milk starts boiling, add sugar and baking soda in it. Keep on medium flame and stir it properly.
2. Now keep stirring every 2-3 mins, till milk is reduced to 1/3rd of its quantity. To check whether your condensed milk is ready or not, put few drops on a plate.
3. After it cools down, touch with your finger. If it sticks to your finger and one string consistency is formed.
4. At this point turn off the gas, and your condensed milk is ready, otherwise after cooling it will become hard. Here you can add butter in milk and mix it well to thicken the condensed milk.
5. After cooling keep condensed milk in airtight container in fridge.
Cooking Note
- We can keep in fridge for 2-3 weeks in airtight container.
- Generally we get 450-500 grams condensed milk from 1 liter milk.

Ingredients :
Besan - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
Hing - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Salt to taste
Pepper - 1 tbsp
Oil to fry
Preparation Method :
1. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl. Now add 2 tbsp of oil in bowl and rub the flour to make like a crumbs. Then add a little water to knead the dough.
2. Find small portion of dough into sev utensil or sev sancha which is shown in below pic. Used thin one to make sev.
3. Heat oil in a kadai, once the oil is hot, press the sev utensil directly into hot oil.
4. Keep the flame in medium heat. Deep fry the sev till golden. Make sure, its cooked on both sides.
5. Drain in a tissue paper. Allow to cool and store it in a air tight container.
6. Your Besan sev or Gujarati sev is ready to serve.
Bhindi is one of the
veggie which is loved by every person. The recipe of bharva bhindi stuffed with tangy masala. This is one of my favorite recipe to prepare it. I learn this recipe from my mom. Bhindi's are stuffed with spices and full of delicious flavor and a wonderful change in normal ladies finger veggie. It is easy to make and very tasty to eat.
This is the most famous dry recipe in our Punjabi family. Bhindi is a favorite Indian vegetable which can be prepared in a variety ways like Pepper Bhindi Fry, spicy bhindi masala recipe.
This is very simple and
mouth-watering dish taste great with chapatti, parathas and also served as a side dish with
rice also. This is best combination with all curry recipes. This is my
husband & mine favourite veggie. My husband wants to eat this
veggie twice in a week. This okra / bhindi fry recipe is cooked with
lots of different spice powder. I tried this new version of bhindi. I
hope you liked it. I am always try to make recipes in some fusion for
good taste.
Ingredients :
Small Bhindi / Lady fingers - 250 gm (trimmed, washed and drained)
Turmeric powder
Dry Mango Powder
Red Chilli powder
Coriander Powder
Garam Masala powder
Salt to taste
Sliced Onions - 1 no
Chopped Coriander Leaves for garnish
Oil
Preparation Method :
1. For preparing ladies finger/ bhindi, first make a deep slit on one side of the ladies finger to make a pocket.
2. Mix together all dry ingredients to make masala for stuffing - red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, dry mango powder and required salt to taste.
3. Stuff the interior of each ladies finger with masala powder.
4. Heat oil in a pan or kadai and stir fry the ladies finger on a low flame till they get browned and 60% cooked.
5. Add the sliced onions and the remaining dry masala/ spices powder into it and mix it well with bhindi. (The leftover spice powder is added towards the end, so that they don’t burn.)
6. Bharva bhindi/ Stuffed Masala Lady-Finger is ready. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, paratha, rice or best going with Yellow Dal tadka also.
This is an easy recipe of Chicken Tikka Masala. This is purely homemade recipe without color. Chicken is marinated in yoghurt and spices and then served in a spicy thick masala gravy. It is traditional and very popular Punjabi chicken dish. This curry recipe serve with roti, rice, butter naan and lachha paratha.
Ingredients :
Chicken - 500 gm (with bone pieces)
Chopped Onion - 2 nos
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Turmeric powder
Coriander powder
Chilly powder
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Garam masala powder
Chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing
Cream - 1 tbsp for garnishing (optional)
For Marinating
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Homemade Tandoori Masala powder - 2 tbsp
Curd - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
For Dry masala
Cinnamon stick - 1 no
Cloves - 3 nos
Small Cardamom - 2 nos
Badi Elaichi - 2 nos
Jeera (cumin seeds) - 1/2 bsp
Bay Leaf (tej patta)- 1no
Preparation Method :
1. First clean the chicken (remove the fatness of chicken) and wash it properly.
2. Roast dry masala without oil in a kadai - cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom, badi elaichi, jeera and bay leaf till the aroma comes. Grind to a powder in a mixi.
3. Mix together all the ingredients and dry masala powder for marinating the chicken. Rub the paste onto the chicken pieces and marinate for 1/2 an hour.
4. Now cook the marinated chicken with enough water until chicken is cooked. (check the chicken with the help of knife)
5. For gravy - Heat oil in a pan or a kadai, add onions followed by ginger-garlic paste.
6. Fry well, till the oil separates. Add all the powdered masala, the tomato puree, salt and a little bit water(use that water, which are using to cook the marinated chicken).
7. Allow the gravy to thicken, add the cooked chicken pieces and the cook for a while.
8. When the gravy becomes thick, add garam masala in last and mix it well.
9. Your Chicken Tikka Masala is ready. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
10. Serve hot chicken with rice, roti, butter naan and lachha paratha.

This is one of the easiest sweet pudding recipe with very less ingredients. This is my family and mine sweet dish. You can have this pudding with paratha or with poori also. This is one of the popular dish from northern part of India.
This dish is liked by all age group. It is traditionally prepared on Karva-chauth times, eaten as a part of Sargi by married women in the morning before the fast begins. Feniyan is easily available in sweets shops.
Ingredients:
Feniyan: 1/2 cup
Milk: 2 cup
Sugar: 2-3 tbsp
Dry fruits- Almonds & kishmish for garnish [ soak in a water and finely chopped]
Method:
1. Heat milk in a pan. Add feniyan and give one boil on a high flame. Then add sugar and stir continuously.
2. Give 3-4 boil again to kheer. Add chopped dry fruits.
3. Serve hot or cold feniyan kheer with paratha or best going with poori also.(preferred cold)
Bharwa Kerele or Stuffed masala bittergourd is one of the veggie which is not liked by many. This recipe of karela stuffed with tangy masala. This is one of my favorite recipe to prepare and I relish it a lot. Karela Lovers would adore this yummy recipe. Stuffed Bharwa karele is best going with chapatti, parathas. This is best combination with all curry veggies but specially going with Yellow Dal tadka.
I learn this recipe of Stuffed bharwa karela from my mother. This is traditional and authentic bharwa karela recipe. Bittergourd pieces saute with onion and other ingredients and fried crisp.
Bittergourd is a natural blood purifier and has numerous benefits. Friends, try out this wonderful recipe of bharwa karele. It is incredible easy and tasty dish.
Ingredients :
Bittergourd/Karela - 500 gms
Turmeric powder
Dry Mango Powder
Red Chilli powder
Coriander Powder
Garam Masala powder
Salt to taste
Chopped Onions - 2 nos
Chopped Coriander Leaves for garnish
Method :
1. First make masala for bittergourd stuffing- Take a bowl, add salt to taste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dry mango powder, little bit of garam masala powder and Mix it well. Keep it aside.
2. Peel the skin of Karela/bittergourd and Make a cut on each karela vertically keeping the base intact. Remove the pith and seeds with your hands.
3. Apply or rub salt over the karela and keep aside for 4-5 hrs. (keep in a fridge)
4. After hours, take them bittergourd from fridge and put it in a room temperature for few minutes, throw away the juices with the help of your palm and rinse the gourds well. Wipe them dry.
5. Stuff the karela with the dry masala mix with a spoon. Stuff well and tighten the stuffed karela with a clean thread. Wrung the thread all around.
6. Heat oil in kadai/pan and fry the karela on a low flame till they get browned and cooked well.
7. Add the onions and the remaining dry masala/ spices powder into it and mix it well with karele. (The leftover spice powder is added towards the end, so that they don’t burn.)
8. While serving bharwan karele remove the threads and add chopped coriander leaves.
9. Serve the masala bharwan karela with chapatis/roti with dahi or raita. They also make a good side dish with Yellow dal.
Vegetarian Hakka Noodles is another Indo-Chinese recipe. It's all time favorite chinese snack among kids and young generation. Lots of vegetables are stir fried with boiled noodles and special Chinese flavors. It is also called a Chowmein in many parts of India. Ingredients :
Noodles - 2 packets
Oil - 2 tbsp.
Chopped Garlic pods - 3 nos (cut into small pieces)
Chopped Orange Carrots - 2 nos(small)
Chopped Capsicum - 1 no
Chopped Onion - 1 no(large)
Soya sauce - 2 tbsp.
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder
Preparation Method :
1. Boil water and add noodles and add little bit oil in a water, so all the noodles will not sticking each other. Cooked the noodles, till 80%.
2. Drain the boiled noodles and put cold water in noodles (to stop cooking of noodles).
3. Heat oil in a pan/ kadai/ wok. Add garlic and cook till brown. Now add onions, saute till onion become transparent.
4. Add chopped carrots, capsicum and add salt to taste, red chilli powder, mix well.
5. Saute them and lower the flame when the vegetables are half cooked.
6. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce and mix it well.
7. Add cooked noodles and mix it well. Serve it hot.
Poached eggs are perfect paired with buttered brown bread toast to make a comforting breakfast on any day of the week. This is the simple way to transform the humble egg into a luxurious treat. It's oil free food and their taste is creamy in texture. It's easy to prepare. This is the healthy way of eating eggs.
Ingredients :
Egg - 2 nos
Water
Salt to tatte
Pepper
Brown bread
Preparation Method :
1. For preparing poached egg, first boil water in a pan.
2. Add salt in a water. When water starts to boil, simmer the flame.
3. Pour the egg carefully in water.
Tip : You can pouring egg into 2 ways -
- First just crack the egg and pour it into water directly but make sure about their skin of egg, it will not dropped into water, or
- Secondly, first you crack the egg, pour into a bowl and then pour it into water. (that is the most safest way to pouring eggs on water)
4. Just stir the water without touching eggs. It's cooked until the egg white has solidified and but the egg yolk remains soft, just remove it into a plate. Slightly cut from top with very soft hand.
5. Poached egg is ready. Serve with buttered brown bread toast and just sprinkle the pepper / oregano on top. Serve immediately.
Khichdi is one of the recipe which is very light in weight and easy to make and very delicious dish. Khichdi is a India's comfort food. This dish is made up with rice, moong dal and very less spices. In our home, we can eat once or twice in 15 days. Because we eat spices or oily food in our daily routine. So, eating Khichdi is good option for balancing our health. This is very common dish across India, but using with differ-2 names. This is my and my sister favourite dish. This is best combination with curd/ yoghurt, roti and Ajwain Paratha.
Ingredients :
Desi Ghee - 2 tbsp. [if you don't like desi ghee in food, you can use normal food oil]
Jeera - 1 tbsp.
Yellow Moong Dal - 1 cup
Rice - less than 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder
Turmeric powder
Garam Masala Powder
Salt to taste
Preparation Method :
1. Clean the rice and moong dal and soak it in water.
2. Heat 2 tbsp. of Desi ghee in a pressure cooker and add jeera and wait for to splutter.
3. Drain of the Rice-Moong dal and add it to mixture in the cooker.
4. Add enough water so that there is layer of water floating on top of the rice-dal mixture.
5. Add masala's like Salt to taste, Turmeric powder, Red chilli powder. Mix well and then close the cooker with it's lid.
6. Pressure cook 2-3 whistles , and remove off the flame. Sprinkle Garam Masala Powder and Mix well.
7. Serve hot Khichdi with curd, pickle, chapatti and Ajwain Paratha.
Special Tip : If you feel, Khichdi become thick, not to worry add water and boil it so that water is cooked in Khichdi.
Paneer Butter Masala recipe is tasty and simple recipe. It is one the most popular recipe in Indian Cuisine. Paneer is cooked in a rich buttery onion-tomato silky gravy and other Indian spices. This recipe is classic North-Indian dish served in restaurants but this is purely Homemade style. I learnt this recipe from one of the food channel, just saw it and tried it at home and It makes very well in the first time. Me and my hubby just loved it :) !! Here's the recipe of Paneer Butter Masala in Restaurant Style with step by step process.
Ingredients :
Paneer- As reqd
Tomatoes(ripe) - 500 gm
Onion Large - 2 nos
Ginger-Garlic paste - 2 tbsp.
Cashewnut Paste - 2 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder
Butter - 4 tbsp.
Kasuri Methi - 1/2 tbsp.
Red Chilli Powder
Coriander Powder
Turmeric powder
Curd - 2 tbsp.
A pinch of Sugar
Coriander leaves - a few
Salt to taste
Preparation Method :
1. Pressure cook the tomatoes upto 2 whistles. Remove the skin of the cooked tomatoes and make it into a puree.
2. Chop the onions in a length-wise.
3. Fry the Paneer lightly and keep it aside.
4. Heat 3 tbsp. of butter in a Pan or Kadai. Fry chopped onions, until it turns little brown and grind into paste.
5. Add onion paste, ginger-garlic paste and cashew nut paste and stir for about 4-5 mins.
6. Add garam masala powder and stir for another couple of mins. Add tomato puree, chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, yoghurt and Kasuri methi and stir for about 5 mins.
7. Add Paneer, sugar and salt to taste into the mixture and stir for about 3-4 mins.
8. Garnish with 1 tbsp of butter, coriander leaves and Kasuri methi.
9. Serve this dish with chapatti, rice and any other bread.
Special Tips:
* If you need more gravy, add water after step 6 and give a 1 boil in a full flame and do same steps as well.
This is one of the Indian flatbread. We usually made poori's in some special occasions, festivals or once in while, because they have lots of calories (oil) but Good for Health too. Pooris are made up with differ-differ flavours according to our tastes and Ajwain Poori is one of them. You can have this Poori / bread any time, this is not specific time meal. This is my Mom's recipe.
They are so simple to make and kurkuri or khasta in taste. They are made up with wheat flour, ajwain and some Indian spices. This is best serve with pickle, any curry veggie, Masala Buttermilk , rice kheer and tea also.
Ingredients :
Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Ajwain (Carom seeds) - 1/2 tbsp. (depending upon your taste also)
Salt to taste
Red chilli Powder
Oil used [ for frying + 1 tbsp. for making dough ]
Water
Procedure :
1. Sieve the wheat flour and rub the oil into it.
2. Add salt, red chilli powder, ajwain and mix well.
3. Add enough water and knead into a stiff dough.
4. Heat oil in a Kadai or a pan, roll out the dough into small size chapatti.
5. Put small size Pooris into hot oil (just take care of yourself with hot oil) for deep fry. Drain into the tissue paper (for excess oil).
6. Ajwain Poori are ready. Serve hot-hot poori's with pickle, any curry veggie, Masala Buttermilk.
Note :- Keep this dough for 4-5 days in a fridge.
