Vegetable Macaroni is a delicious Italian recipe, made with Indian style. I like macaroni a lot and love to make in my fusion style of cooking with lots of vegetables that can blend with Indian spices. Macaroni is a mouthwatering pasta recipe cooked in a traditional way. This is purely vegetarian recipe. This recipe is without cheese.

This is very famous dish across world, and every one make their own style. This is my style of macaroni-pasta, hope you'll all like it and enjoyed while preparing. It is easy to prepare.
Here's the interesting recipe of this Macaroni-Pasta in Tomato Sauce.
Ingredients :
Macaroni / Pasta - 2 cups
Butter - 2 tbsp
Jeera (Cumin Seeds)- 1 tbsp
Onion sliced - 1 nos (large)
Roughly Chopped Tomatoes - 2 nos (small sized)
Chopped Capsicum - 1/2 nos
Ginger-Garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
Tomato sauce - 3- 4 tbsp
Oregano - 1/2 tbsp
Chilli Flakes - 1/2 tbsp (optional)
Black Crushed Pepper
Red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Water (For 2 cups of macaroni, we take double quantity of water like 4 cups)
Preparation Method :
1. For preparing macaroni, take a large vessel, pour water and boil.
2. Stir in macaroni, add required salt, 1 tbsp oil (we add oil because so they cannot stick all together after cooking) and cook until 80% of cooking. Drain well in a bowl, add cold or warm water from top, to stop cooking and keep it aside.
3. In a kadai, add butter and oil both together, (we use butter for creamy texture and ofcorse for taste also in macaroni) now add jeera, ginger-garlic paste and chopped sliced onions, once they become transparent add tomatoes, capsicum in it. (You can add your favorite veggies like mushroom also)
4. While sauting, add oregano, chilli flakes, tomato sauce, required salt, red chilli powder and pepper. Mix well.
5. Once, the tomatoes becomes soft, add boiled macaroni / pasta and mix well, cook for few minutes.
6. Your Veg Macaroni-Pasta in Tomato Sauce is ready. Serve it with tomato sauce or you can add shredded cheese on top(optional).
